UDS works in Kamuli – in rural Uganda with communities to relieve poverty through economic development. We help people and organisations gain access to information and training. We do this through our Kamuli Development Centre where we provide

• A library and study area to give access to books and newspapers
• Internet access and I.T. training enabling people to improve their economic prospects.
• Training in agricultural techniques and sustainability giving subsistence farmers the opportunity to improve their incomes
• Skills for building household technologies, improving health and reducing  time spent in menial labour

The UK office fundraises for the projects and provides support to individuals and organisations working in Uganda with tax-efficient giving, monitoring and evaluation and project management.
